Mailing List Prices If you are happy with your first month of service, we will send you an invoice for a full year of mailing list hosting.
Your one-time setup fee allows me to
learn about your specific needs, set
your list up, email you your Owner's Manual, answer any of your
questions via telephone or email, and operate your list for one
month. I typically learn about your mailing list needs with a 10 or 15 minute phone conversation, but we can also exchange emails if you prefer. This one-time setup fee will also allow you to operate as many lists as you want without
any additional setup charges. So if next year you decide you need another mailing list, I will waive the setup fee. To start your new mailing list, please establish your new client account. Announcement List Price Options
Tiny Announcement Lists have less than 100 subscribers. We waive the first year's annual fee. Your setup fee will run your list for 13 months. Small Announcement Lists send less than 10,000 messages per month. Medium Announcement Lists send less than 100,000 messages per month. Large Announcement Lists send more than 100,000 messages per month. Large Announcement Lists are billed at the end of each
month. For example, if you sent 500,000 messages in a month,
your cost that month would be 500,000 x .001 = $500.00. Discussion Group Price Options
Small Discussion Groups have less than 30 members. Medium Discussion Groups have between 30 and 400 members. Large Discussion Groups have between 401 and 1,000 members.
You may use Your Domain Name, instead of mail-list.com. You will need to setup mail forwarding at your web hosting company for the 10 email addresses that your list will use. You may use our CGI server to provide a form for people to subscribe and unsubscribe from your web site. We will supply the HTML code to create the form, as well as the computer server to process the requests. You will copy and paste the HTML code into the web page(s) on your site. You may keep a searchable web archive of all messages sent to your list. The search engine will only look at the emails sent to your list, so that people can easily find what has already been discussed. This web archive may be password protected. You may use our blog to email service. This automated service will send a daily or weekly digest of your blog's content to your mailing list. So if you want to post your new content to your blog, and have people that prefer to read it via email, this service will do it automatically. You may use any or all of these Premium Optional Services for an additional $69.95 per year.
Should you transfer your list ownership to another company or person, this transfer fee will allow us to update our database with the new owner's data, email them the Owner's Manual, get them trained in how to use your list, and answer all of their questions via telephone or email.
Getting Started The first step is to become a client, by setting up your account. Or, if you are still in the research phase, we will be happy to send you a free special report that you can read at your convenience. This report will describe all of the problems in getting your mailing list messages delivered, including the reputation of your IP addresses, the importance of being in your subscriber's Address Book, the disadvantages of HTML email, how the "Report As Spam" button is changing, and what you need to do to resolve these problems.
